We’re huge fans of DogFest having been to the Cheshire event for the last two years
And we have some super exciting news – six lucky readers can win tickets to DogFest – the ultimate summer festival for dogs!
Hosted by Supervet Noel Fitzpatrick, DogFest offers dogs, their owners, and dog-lovers an action-packed, fun-filled weekend; think Glastonbury Festival – for dogs!
We have a pair of tickets for each of the venues – Cheshire, Bristol and Hertfordshire – to give away.
Highlights of this year’s events include School 4 Dogs, Dogs with Jobs and the ever popular Great Dog Walk.
Led twice daily by Noel, the Great Dog Walk is the perfect opportunity for visitors to get some exercise with their dog, explore the wonderful surroundings of our three venues and raise some money for charity.
There will be loads of ‘have-a-go activities’ for dogs including Flyball, agility, dog diving and the Top Dog competition ring. Plus, live music, delicious food stalls, doggy-centric shopping and even more to be announced…
We love watching Noel and the amazing work he does
His talks at DogFest are so inspiring – there’s never a dry eye in our group!
We had the chance to meet him and have our photo taken in 2016 – my mum and I were so giddy and Daisy had a cuddle from him too.
Other activities we’ve tried there include The Hay Race, where dogs are timed as they jump over a series of hay bales.
Daisy was so excited she ran off past the finish line! Another fun thing to do is doggy diving, where your pup can make a splash in a huge pool!
We have a pair of tickets for each venue to be won
DogFest takes place at Cholmondeley Castle in Cheshire, on 16 –17th June, Ashton Court in Bristol, on 23rd –24th June and at Knebworth in Hertfordshire, on 7 –8th July.
All you need to do to be in with a chance to win is tell us why you would like to go to DogFest, which venue you wish to visit and your favourite Supervet moment.
To enter, either leave a comment below or underneath the post about the competition on our Facebook page.
The winner will be chosen at random on Monday May 28th.

Who wouldn’t want to go to Dogfest to be around all those 4 legged friends. Also to be there in support for Noel Fitzpatrick….and my little rescue deserves some nice New presants….Any Venue… Best Supervet moment – That’s a hard one. Aw thanks for commenting Ekaterina, your pups sound adorable! Can I just check which venue?
Hi Christine and thanks for commenting, please let me know your nearest as I have to do three separate draws you see and don’t want your little doggie travelling too far as well. Thank you for taking part and thank you for having a rescue as well.
Hello, sorry my mistake Hertfordshire…Thank you x
I would love to go so I can pick up loads of treats for my 5 fur babies, meet like minded folk who love dogs as much as me and the chance to take pictures of such a great event, I have a new camera and have just learned how to shoot in manual mode, it would be great to be able to take pictures of all the lovely doggies that are going to be there and especially with it being at Cholmondeley Castle this year, thankyou for the chance
That sounds fab Susan – five dogs – you have your hands full! I did a camera course myself the other week so I need to get snapping too. Thanks for entering and paws crossed!
Cheshire Please. Thank you xx
I have never been to DogFest but have been wanting to go for a few.years now. I’d love to take my to with me and get them lots of goodies from there and see what things and advice is there in case there’s anything that helps my 2 so their life is the best it can possibly be. Tia and Luna are both rescues and both of them have been such incredible help, support and comfort so they deserve to be thoroughly spoilt!!!
Aw thanks for entering Hannah, it’s a great day for them, which is the closest venue to you? Rescue dogs are the best! thanks for taking part!
We would love to go to Hertfordshire dog fest it was so much fun last year, my dog now has epilepsy and we would love to go again x I don’t have a favourite super vet moment they are all so special the work Noel does is awesome
Thanks Carole, I hope your dog is ok and coping with her epilepsy. Thankfully there are so many talented vets out there like Noel to help them. Thanks for taking part.
Would love to win to take poppy my springer spaniel. I would love to try her with the activities like flyball to see if she likes it and then find a group locally. Fingers crossed.
Thanks Ceri Ann for entering, which venue would you like?
Django loved dogfest 2 years ago unfortunately we haven’t been able to go back due to his health but now he’s fighting fit we would love to experience it all again. I love discovering new and indepedent suppliers. We discovered guru pet food last time which Django loves. I love watching all of supervet, he tries and pushes the boundaries for our loved ones.
Hi Rachel that’s good to hear about your lovely pup! Can I just check which venue? The Guru pet food people are lovely aren’t they?
I would love to go to dog fest because I’ve always wanted to and now that my husband and I have a dog, it would be perfect! I really want to take our pup as he’d love everything about it, he loves any kind of adventure, and who doesn’t want to show their dog off? We want to go to the Cheshire venue! My favorite supervet moment is definitely when Noel helped Wobble the Whisper. She was beaten and so close to death but somehow Noel did the impossible and saved her. It’s really a story that brings hope to all dogs: rescued, abandoned, and alone. Dog fest is for dog lovers, and my husband, me and our dog all love dog fest!
Thanks Rebecca and thanks for sharing the remarkable story about Wobble, he is such an amazing man and seeing him in real life is awesome (I always end up crying!) Thanks for entering!
I’m sorry, it autocorrected whippet to whisper! ?
Hi Rebecca, you won the competition! I’ve just sent you an e mail.
Yes please! Ty and i have all our fingers and paws crossed for Bristol tickets ???? xxx
Was disappointed it was so hot last year couldnt have a go on anything but yes was for tge safety of the dogs. Would love to go this year & have a go on the activites
That’s a shame Sarah, was it the Cheshire one? We were there too and it was so hot and worrying for the dogs. Please let me know your choice of venue?
Would love to take my 2 ex breeding rescues to Dogfest as they are loving life after I adopted them couple months ago after spending 7yrs and 4 yrs in cages
Jackie that is heartbreaking, poor babies, thank goodness they are safe now. Would you be able to let me know your choice of venue?
Teddy my 1 year old Pomeranian would love for us to win a pair of dog fest tickets for Hertfordshire.
It would be a great opportunity to learn some new things and try out some stuff as he is our first Dog and we want to be the best doggy parents we can be!
My fav supervet moment would have to be the little hamster they had on there with a protruding cheek pouch! I have 2 hamsters (use to have 6) and love the awareness it brought to how these little animals should be treated just as you a dog or cat ?
Aw it sounds like you’re a real animal lover – Teddy would LOVE a day at DogFest, thanks for entering Kerry!
despite my email, i love a woofer! I’d rather like to go simply to pat all the dogs!
Hi Dawn thanks for taking part and I’m laughing about your e mail! Which event is best for you?
I would love to go to dog fest …. it would be my first time ever going as a dog lover, dog owner and dog groomer. And to bring my fur- baby – Diesal, Maltshi would be amazing. Thanks for taking part Ben, hope Henry is doing well!
I would like to go to dogfest because I would like to spend the day around the dogs, also this would be a great place to buy things for my dog and it would be nice to see their face when I bring gifts home. my favourite supervet moment is when he was trying to treat the cat Buggy.
if I’m lucky enough to win could I please have Cheshire tickets please? Thankyou.
Hi Holly, thanks for taking part, it’s a fab event. And thank you for sharing your fave Noel moment too. We’ll do the draw this week and announce on our FB page.
Thanks,
Rachel
I’d love tickets to the Cheshire event please! We’ve had our rescue boy for 18 months and we would love to treat him to a doggy day out!
Our favourite Supervet moment was when Noel saved Spud, a dog belonging to former homeless man Chris. And he even waived the fees, which was a very generous touch!
Hi Angela thanks for commenting, I remember this episode too! We’ll be drawing the winners this week, thanks for taking part!
