I’m Carole, I’ve been a veterinary surgeon for 20 years and when I experienced the benefits of acupuncture firsthand on my own aches and pains I wanted to offer the same to my patients! I completed a Foundation Course in Veterinary Acupuncture in 2016 and got real satisfaction from being able to offer a safe, effective therapy alongside conventional medical options to animals suffering from chronic pain and illness. I practise Western Medical acupuncture which has its basis in established neurophysiology. I have since done an Electroacupuncture course to be able to offer this enhanced therapy alongside conventional acupuncture.
I set up an independent mobile service in 2021 so that more pets could benefit even if their registered practice did not offer acupuncture. Having a home visit service means I can treat pets who find it difficult or stressful to travel or visit a clinic, and I love getting to know my patients and their owners in their own environment, and having the time and space to tailor my treatment and advice to their individual circumstances and challenges.
Acupuncture is an extremely safe, well tolerated treatment therapy to support pets suffering from osteoarthritis, neurological conditions, spinal pain, trapped nerves and chronic inflammatory conditions regain quality of life and reduce their pain.
