What vet reviewed means here
Our vet-reviewed health guides identify the reviewing veterinary professional and the date of their review. The first three guides were reviewed by RCVS-registered veterinary surgeon Madison Blakeman BVetMed MRCVS · RCVS 7530153. We incorporate approved answers and explicit requested corrections. Answers left unresolved or rejected in the review are not published as reviewed advice.
A review applies to the named guide and the material covered by that review. It is not an endorsement of every article, directory business or product mentioned on this website.
The original Paw Post archive
Our journal preserves the articles acquired with The Paw Post, including their original page addresses, publication dates, credited authors and first-person reporting. These stories may describe the original author's experiences and relationships. They do not carry a veterinary-review claim unless that review is explicitly identified.
Historical prices, offers, opening hours and business details can change. Check current details directly with the business before making plans.
Sources you can inspect
Reviewed answers link to the research or professional guidance used in preparing them. We aim to preserve the context, including the animal species, study population and limits of a finding. A result from a group of animals cannot predict what will happen to your own pet.
Help for a conversation with your vet
Our guides explain signs, investigations and care options. They do not diagnose an individual animal, prescribe medication or replace an examination. If your pet seems seriously unwell, contact a veterinary practice promptly.
Corrections and updates
If you spot an error, a broken source or information that needs another look, please report a correction. A substantive clinical change needs appropriate review; changing a page layout does not create a new veterinary review date.
Commercial relationships
A directory entry is a listing, not a clinical endorsement or a guarantee of a service. Where an article includes a sponsored or affiliate relationship, that relationship should be disclosed on the article. Original disclosures remain with the acquired archive.
